when we started out, pubs served food. they often served grub that was a simple, welcome addition to the drinks they served...and these pubs were also pretty hit and miss on the food side. some of these pubs were excellent and understood the importance of quality, homemade food and others were happy to let bar staff jump on microwave duty and knock out cheap, frozen food for their patrons.
when we put the menu together for little alpine, we wanted to present something that would fit with the beautiful country surroundings, the community spirit and the homely, unique atmosphere we've created at the pub. we simply cannot wait to show you what we've been working on and serve up the great food that you expect from this stunning country pub in our humble, leafy corner of hertfordshire.
